It's Sunday and I'm writing this to help you avoid the dreaded Monday morning scramble.  I hate the Monday morning scramble. You know how it goes:  Mom's start yelling, kids start crying, things get forgotten and you come to school feeling nervous and probably without all the things you need. Coming from a person who knows--me, remember, I had 4 boys to get out the door in the morning--here are the TOP TEN TIPS for avoinding the Monday morning scramble:

1.  If you haven't already done so, get the back pack out, find the take home folder and the planner and grab mom or dad.
Hand them all the stuff and let them help you go over it.

2.  If you haven't already done so, do your homework.

3.  Have your parent sign the Friday, September 11 space in your planner.

4.  Check with mom or dad to see if they've alreday signed these things:
            a.  Wargo Field Trip permission slip--it's in the forms tab of this blog and can be printed off at home.
            b.  Your media release form--also available on this blog.
            c.  Your yellow health card.

5.  Check the peek of the week on this blog site--do you need anything else?  Do you have your baseball card pages?

6.  Find a book that you want to read.  Remember, if you don't have one you can grab one from the reading area but if you don't have something in your desk to read before 9:15 a.m. Monday then I get to pick what you read this week.

7.  Choose a snack and set it by your stuff.  Remember, you have a classmate with a tree nut allergy so choose carefully.

8.  What specialist do we have? (Check the peek tab)  Do you need anything for that?

9.  Throw it all  in the back pack and put the back pack by the door.

10.  Enjoy the rest of the day, go to bed early enough to get 10 hours of sleep and rest easy knowing you are prepared and have avoided the dreaded Monday Morning Scramble!!

For 5 tickets, write down tip number 6 from the list above and hand it to me as you walk in the door tomorrow.

Cheer on the Vikes!!  See you tomorrow.
