I am hoping we will go out tomorrow.  I know the 5th graders excitement level will be high as it is their last day of classroom school for the week.  They head out to Deep Portage on Wednesday morning, bright and early.  Isn't that exciting?!  No worries 3rd and 4th graders, we will do exciting things here too.

Come ready to learn outside tomorrow.  I am impressed with your work ethic on our first exploration--Native American Studies.  You all have a great start and should be ready by next week for our museum.  Be sure and think about your artifact for our museum.  You can do a winter count, a totem pole, a tepee, or birch bark house, anything that would relate to your topic and be representative of what you decided to explore in the way of Native American lives.

See you tomorrow.
