Wow. It's that time of the year. Just staying on top of the organizational piece becomes a job in and of itself. Good luck. It is all good practice for middle school next year.

My 2605 Poem
Posted by Jamie Kovacs on Thursday, April 30, 2015,
Room 2605
I am
The teacher in this wonderful classroom
Who loves and cares for each and every kid here
Every single one of them.
They are
All gifted and talented and smart
In their very own unique and special and individual way
I hope they know that.
Too soon
They are going to leave here
And head off to middle school and eventually the world
I know they are ready.
Love your teacher, Mrs. Kovacs

Joe Takes the Lead! Fire at Oneka!
Posted by Jamie Kovacs on Sunday, April 19, 2015,
I needed to headlines for this news. Wow, what a week!
The fire was extremely exciting and we learned a ton about back fire, DNR, grass fires, and why land is sometimes even burned on purpose. Our land was not burned on purpose but...it was well contained and we are all safe and sound. The only thing is, we lost our habitats.
Check out the picture tab and I will post some photos of what the fire looked like. I have some great pictures of you studying and working in the very place that was o...

Work Hard, Play Hard
Posted by Jamie Kovacs on Wednesday, April 8, 2015,
Our new class motto is work hard, play hard. Blog a comment that explains what this means and how you are putting into action and you can have 4 tickets.
We are currently reviewing and "cramming" for finals, just like the high school and college kids do. There is so much to cover and cram into our brains but...none of it is new, it is all review of things we really have already considered before. So the good news is it's review and the bad news is it is a TON of stuff.
We MCA math test on ...
